Special Features

In addition to the three episodes of Secret Quest, there were also two special features released with the DVD, with one of these special features giving an introduction to The Flight of the Feathered Serpent. In this special feature, teachers of The Gnostic movement give a detailed summary of the book, explaining some of its major themes and meanings, as well as outlining how the book came to be. Most importantly, they reveal the correlation between events described in the Gospel of Judas, which was first unveiled by National Geographic in 2006, and The Flight of the Feathered Serpent, which was first published in Spanish in 1953—long before the Gospel of Judas was even rediscovered.
